Park Re-dedication The weekend of the 2010 Tournament culminated with a brief re-dedication ceremony of the Town Athletic Fields on Sunday, June 13th. Town Councilman Bob Ryan along with Town Supervisor Keith Cipperly and Councilman Jeff Wysocki presented the Baker Family with a proclamation renaming the complex the Coach Ken Baker Athletic Fields. Located on the Barton Avenue entrance to the complex, the memorial includes two benches, a walkway and a large stone, both donated by W.E. Dailey. The stone will hold a plaque commemorating the memory and legacy of Coach Ken Baker. "This is a beautiful area where my family and I can come and remember Ken. We appreciate this honor and we love Hoosick Falls, thank you!" added Mrs. Ann Baker.

Television Raffles Two local credit unions and a local bank have announced their support for the Ken Baker Memorial Scholarship fund which provides annual scholarships to students at Cambridge Central School and Hoosick Falls Central School. To help raise funds for the organization, the institutions donated a 50” plasma television as well as a 19” LCD television to be raffled at the annual Ken Baker Memorial Scholarship Tournament Saturday June 12th. Mike Baratto commented that it is not only wonderful to see the two communities working together, but it’s really nice to see the banks and credit unions doing the same for the betterment of both Cambridge and Hoosick Falls. All of us involved with the Ken Baker Memorial Scholarship fund tip our hats to these institutions for their generosity.
